Working with large pieces of fabric during the current heatwave is way more than I can take. I suspect my ancestors lived in Northern countries, because temperatures above 25°C just fry my brain and make me slow and cranky. So I'm currently mostly sitting in the apartment with the blinds down and a fan on full blast or visit friends who have colder flats. In between, sewing and crafting take the (very) slow road and hardly progress at all.
Except when I needed a summer dress. Something airy and cooling, but still in fancy black. I have a ton of black jersey (well, around 15m still) which was begging me to be used. So I made another dress which is rather an elongated shirt:
Nothing fancy, really. I was thinking about doing a tutorial, but then the heat induced brain melting took over and I forgot to take pictures. D'oh!
